From the moment it debuted, automotive press outlets (including Autoblog) favorably compared the M2 to legends like the 1M Coupe and 2002 Turbo. While these models weren’t necessarily the most powerful in the BMW lineup, their combination of driving pleasure, power balance, and the customizability of the experience cemented their place in the automotive pantheon. According to Autoblog, the M2 is made from the same stuff.
